With every Windmill t shirt sold, we donate $3 to Native Energy , an organization that facilitates the production of clean energy projects. Supporting a Native Energy program goes beyond merely buying energy from a renewable source: the offsets you purchase will fund a renewable energy project that would not have been possible otherwise.

Our ‘help build’ offsets finance renewable energy projects in communities where we can create sustainable economic benefits. Maintaining this ideal of reducing emissions beyond business as usual is important because it allows us to fund projects that really need it as opposed to projects that would have existed regardless. The project that we are currently supporting is the Owl Feather War Bonnet Wind Farm in St. Francis, South Dakota. With a projected completion date of late 2008, your contribution is helping build a facility that can produce 30 million watts of electricity.
